Associate Director, Digital Strategy

Haworth seeks an Associate Director, Digital Strategy to be a topline owner of a myriad of businesses uniquely responsible for defining strategy for cross-campaign activities (campaign) & unique digital work teams (non-campaign).

  • Operate as a senior client digital lead, responsible for leading strategic and tactical planning activities across the business pillar. Fully responsible for all digital KPIs associated with varied business objectives
  • Provide digital thought leadership, and elevate the overall digital product
  • Ensure proper communication across holistic internal digital teams and external agency partners -media, ad ops, account, production, search, etc.
  • Possess the single point of view on a campaign’s digital activity (i.e. fully contemplate all digital activities inherent in a campaign no matter the executing party
  • Provide stimulus for innovative solutions to business and digital efforts
  • Partner with creative agencies to deliver integrated solutions to clients
  • Responsible for multi-channel digital recommendations from Haworth – ensure cohesion and business objective delivery
  • Align with other planning and buying teams to drive integrated solutions for clients
  • Set realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them, providing quality work in a timely manner
  • Develop your staff through performance management and giving consistent feedback. Identify with staff, developmental opportunities and help them to work toward their professional goals
  • Promote an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared
  • Participate in new business planning & related presentations when requested
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors
  • 5-7 years of experience in media planning including 3-5 years management experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop integrated marketing communication plans encompassing traditional and non-traditional media strategies
  • Ability to drive projects from conception to completion; project management experience
  • Proven knowledge of digital planning and research tools and resources as well as site experience & eCommerce implications related to digital scopes of work
  • Strong understanding of technical platforms and related integration opportunities – must be able to strongly lead technical discussions
  • Ability to leverage digital user behavior data and related digital industry data to craft strategic stories and identify white space opportunities
  • Inherent understanding of lifecycle marketing & audience targeting (digital CRM)
  • Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
